Our Story
Our Story
We are a small, family-run business based in Romford, dedicated to providing natural, healthy pet treats that support long, happy lives for pets.
Our journey began with our Doberman, Lexi. From a young age, Lexi struggled with many store-bought treats and foods, often experiencing digestive issues that resulted in repeated vet visits. After trying countless products without success, we became determined to find a better, more natural solution that would allow her to enjoy treats without discomfort.
That’s when we turned to natural feeding options and quickly realised the difference a simple, wholesome diet could make. Inspired by Lexi’s improvement, we set out to find treats that were not only tasty, but also gentle on sensitive stomachs and made with complete transparency. From that mission, Chasing Tail Treats was born in May 2025.
Today, every treat we offer is 100% natural, carefully crafted without fillers, synthetic additives, preservatives, or anything we wouldn’t confidently give to our own pets. We take great care in selecting products that support overall health and wellbeing, helping pets thrive from the inside out.
As a growing family business, we remain committed to keeping things simple, honest, and pet-focused. We don’t currently have a physical shop and operate through our website a allowing us to reach pet owners directly and keep our products accessible.
At the heart of everything we do is Lexi and the belief that every pet deserves treats that are as pure and natural as the love they bring into our lives.
Meet the Team
Lexi
A big bundle of energy who simply doesn’t know when to stop! She’s always on the go, full of excitement and ready for whatever comes next. Beneath all that energy, though, she’s a huge softie at heart and absolutely loves her home comforts.
Food is definitely one of the quickest ways to win her attention, and she never seems to miss the sound of a packet opening!
Lilith
She is the proud auntie to Loki and Lulu and very much the big boss of the household. She likes everyone to know that she’s in charge, and if she’s not happy about something, you can be sure all the other cats will hear about it! She has no problem putting them in their place and making her feelings very clear. She may rule the house with a firm paw, but she also has a gentle side that comes out when she’s relaxed and content.
Luna
Luna is the proud mum of Loki and Lulu and has a naturally caring personality. She always seems to keep an eye on the other cats and likes to make sure everyone is happy, comfortable and behaving themselves. She has a lovely gentle side and often takes on the role of looking after the rest of the feline family.
That caring nature doesn’t stop her from being a little cheeky, though especially when food is involved! Luna is always curious about any treats or snacks that happen to be lying around and believes they are worth trying, whether they were meant for her or not. Nothing seems to escape her attention, and she’s especially fond of attempting to help herself to Lexi’s treats whenever she gets the chance.
Loki
Loki is a very laid-back and lazy cat who absolutely loves his home comforts. Whether it’s a cosy bed, a soft blanket, a cat tunnel or pretty much anywhere warm and comfortable, Loki is always happy to settle down for a long nap. He can quite easily spend hours sound asleep without a care in the world.
Don’t let his lazy lifestyle fool you, though! The second a fly dares to pass by, Loki suddenly transforms into an expert hunter. One moment he can be fast asleep and the next he’s wide awake, ready to pounce. Somehow, despite spending most of his time relaxing, he manages to catch a fly on his first attempt about 99% of the time. Clearly all that sleeping is just him saving his energy for the important things!
Lulu
Lulu is a very quiet and gentle cat for most of the day, happily keeping herself to herself and enjoying a peaceful life. But once the middle of the night arrives, it’s a completely different story. That’s when Lulu seems to decide it’s the perfect time to burn off every bit of energy she’s been saving up.
Her night time routine usually involves racing around the house at full speed, bouncing off furniture, launching herself from one surface to another and somehow managing to make as much noise as possible while everyone else is trying to sleep. No room is safe once the zoomies begin!
